Buyer found for St. Joseph Villa

CHRISTUS Saint Joseph Villa in Salt Lake City, which was founded in 1947 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, has been sold to a for-profit group.

Christus Saint Joseph Villa is being sold to Ensign, a California-based for-profit group that has 82 facilities throughout the western United States, with five in Utah. Although the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word who are working at the Villa will be leaving the end of January, Ensign hopes to maintain the traditions of the sisters, who founded the Villa in 1947.
