OGDEN — Catherine Kenny Jones, 85, died March 2, at a local care center. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Ogden. Jones was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Ogden to Terence and Nellie Frost Kenny. She married Walter Leonard Jones Sept. 15, 1951, in Wendover, Nev. He died in 1994. She was a life-long resident of Ogden, and graduated from Ogden High School. She attended Weber State College for two years. Jones was employed as a stenographer/clerk for the O.U.R.G. Railroad for 40 years. She was a member of the Parent Teacher Association at St. Joseph School where she was a teacher assistant in religion. She is survived by one son and one daughter, Daniel F. Jones and Jeannie Marie Jones; two brothers, Msgr. James T. Kenny, Salt Lake City, and Phillip S. Kenny, Ogden; and her best friend Barbara J. Marsh, Idaho. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment was in the Ogden City Cemetery.
