Catholic presence at St. Patrick's Day parade

Fulfilling the adage that everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, many Utah Catholic parishes and schools participated in the 40th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Salt Lake City, sponsored by the Hibernian Society. Despite the cold and mixed rain and snow, the Utah Knights of Columbus Color Guard led off the parade, which included many marchers and floats from Utah Catholic schools and parish communities.
