The Saint Vincent de Paul Parish Council of Catholic Women hosted its third annual baby shower on Oct. 14, collecting items to donate to St. Martha’s Baby Project. The CCW invited donations from St. Vincent parishioners and community members, asking for items to be donated to mothers in need who have newborn infants. The community responded with enough items to fill two crossover vehicles, said Catherine Ford-Barbiero, a CCW representative. Among the items were diapers, baby wipes, soap, and layette items such as newborn clothing and baby blankets.
