Celebrating the Sisters of the Holy Cross

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School recently acknowledged the rich history and faith tradition with their Founders Day Mass celebrating the Sisters of the Holy Cross. Following Mass, the sisters who attended toured the school and interacted with the students. The charisms of dignity, acceptance, charity and love that were first displayed by the Holy Cross Sisters continue to be infused in the education, character formation, student life and faculty development at Our Lady of Lourdes School so they will not be lost. Shown are Sister Pushpa Teresa Gomes, Sister Celine Dounies (former Lourdes fourth-grade teacher), and Sister Catherine Kamphaus (former principal at Lourdes), with the school’s first-grade class.
