SALT LAKE CITY — The Madeleine Choir School welcomed Dr. Kristen Stokes Fuoco to their team in the role of director of student services this year. She graduated from Juan Diego Catholic High School before attending Santa Clara University for her undergraduate work.
“We are so happy to have Dr. Fuoco join MCS in this new administrative role,” said Choir School Principal Megan Randazzo. “Her areas of expertise fit so well with the needs of our students and teachers. She has already made a huge impact in providing a wide array of resources.”
Fuoco has worked in education for the past 13 years; her areas of focus at MCS include building positive behavior supports, enhancing the MCS student support team, assisting with language learner supports, and professional development for teachers.
She received her M.Ed. and Ph.D. in special education from the University of Utah. After finishing her Ph.D. work, she completed the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctorate level (BCBA-D) exam. More details about her expertise in these areas are listed in her bio page at www.utmcs.org.
