SALT LAKE CITY — Clinton Kidder Lewis, 80, passed away Feb. 12, 2012.

Lewis was born on March 12, 1931 in Minneapolis, Minn. to James Lewis and Alice Kidder Lewis. He married Ruth Lehrecke on Nov. 29, 1952. Lewis received his three master’s degrees in mining, engineering and metallurgy from the University of Utah. He retired from Kennecott after 28 years.

Lewis is survived by his wife; son Clinton; daughters Maria and Julie; four granddaughters and brother Jay (Adair).

A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
