Coming back to the Catholic faith results in community weddings at the cathedral

Ten couples professed their vows during a community wedding celebration at the Cathedral of the Madeleine on April 17. Father Jorge Roldan, the cathedral’s parochial vicar, and Deacon Guillermo Martinez officiated at the ceremony, which was the culmination of all the couples’ efforts to enter the Catholic faith. Most of them were baptized, received their First Communion or were confirmed in the Catholic faith during the Easter Vigil celebrated on April 15, after months of religious education classes.
