SALT LAKE CITY — Strong individual performances led both the boys and girls cross-country teams led to solid seasons for the Bulldog squads. The girls, led by sophomore Koko Novak, who claimed the Region XI individual championship, had four runners in the Top 10 at the Region XI tourney to claim the Region XI championship. The boys had three runners in the Top 10 at the Region XI championship, leading to a second-place finish. However, Senior Max Lamb claimed the Region XI individual championship as well as the second spot in the UHSAA 3-A individual tourney race. Overall in UHSAA 3-A, the boys squad finished in fifth place and the girls squad in sixth place. Other highlights included sophomore Koko Novak and junior Jacqui Rodriguez finishing in the top 15 racers at the Firman Classic; senior Parker Mildenhall finishing in the top 12 racers at the Firman Classic; and seniors Jessica Gaffney, Max Lamb and Parker Mildenhall being named Academic All-State.
