SALT LAKE CITY — Daniel Taylor Drowne, 40, died June 20, of a sudden illness.

Drowne was born Oct. 5, 1966, in Derry, N.H., to Patricia Howard and Ralph C. Drowne. He graduated from Pinkerton Academy in Derry, N.H., in 1984, and then entered the U.S. Army on a delayed entry program. He proudly served in the Army Corps of Engineers until his honorable discharge in 1988. He moved to Jackson Hole, Wyo., to begin a career with Delta Airlines. In 1990, he married Nancy in Jackson Hole. At the time of his death, he was senior coordinator of the Airport Coordination Center at Salt Lake International Airport. He was a model employee and never missed a day of work in 19 years. His dedication carried over into his roles as a husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; son, Patrick; daughter, Taylor; father, Ralph C. Drowne, Alpine, Wyo.; sister, Kimberly (Rick) Alm, Idaho Falls, Idaho; grandmother, Doris Howard, New York; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Committal was in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
