DCCW, Knights of Columbus rework annual conventions

The DCCW has postponed its annual convention.  The 92nd annual convention with the theme “Let Your Light Shine,” originally scheduled for April 25-26, will now be held July 25-26. The Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel will remain the venue. The program will be as close to originally planned as possible, depending upon the speakers’ schedules. The other convention activities, including the Woman of the Year Banquet, will remain the same. Convention registration and hotel reservation deadlines have been moved to June 25. Registration forms are posted on the DCCW website,  www.dccwutah.org.  

 The 113th Annual State Convention, originally scheduled for May 2-3, has been cancelled. Knights will instead participate in a 90-minute phone call on Sunday, May 3 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be no social gatherings this year. 

The convention banquet and awards ceremony may be combined into a Knights of Columbus meeting/dinner, tentatively scheduled for early July, Utah State Deputy Greg Keller said. Details to be announced.
