Deacon William A. ?Bill? Januszewski

William A. “Bill” Januszewski was born May 19, 1936 in Washington County just outside Brenham, Texas and died May 27, 2018 in Dallas, Texas.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at St. Benedict’s College in Atchison, Kansas and served in the U.S. Army for 22 years as a military intelligence technician.

He married Michelle Leone Vaughn on December 7, 1968 (later divorced). They had three children.

Bill was ordained a deacon for the Diocese of Salt Lake City on June 6, 1981 by Bishop William K. Weigand. He served as a deacon at Saint Marguerite Parish in Tooele until he moved back to Brenham, Texas (Diocese of Austin, Texas) in 1989. He served as a deacon at St. Mary Parish, Brenham in the Diocese of Austin.   

A  Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 2, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Brenham, Texas. Interment followed at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
