La caminata anual de Cuaresma: ‘un testamento del poder de nuestra fe’

The Diocese of Salt Lake City will join the worldwide celebration of the opening of the 2025 Jubilee Year on Sunday, Dec. 29. In Utah, the Cathedral of the Madeline will celebrate with a special procession at the 11 a.m. Mass in English and the 3 p.m. Mass in Spanish.

In addition, five parishes have been designated as pilgrimage sites for the Jubilee Year:

• Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City

• Saint George Catholic Church, 259 West 200 North, St. George

• Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem

• Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 2350 Adams Ave., Ogden

• Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, 210 N. Carbon Ave., ​Price.

Local Catholics are encouraged to make a pilgrimage to any or all of these churches. Plenary indulgences will be granted to those to participate in Jubilee Year activities and meet the usual conditions.
