Diocese Joins Global Rosary Relay

On June 16, the Diocese of Salt Lake City participated in the Annual Global Rosary Relay for the Sanctification of Priests. Shown is Father Kenneth Vialpando, vicar for clergy, serving as the celebrant for the celebration at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, where the Glorious Mysteries were recited at 4 p.m. For the rally, people in more than 70 countries around the world prayed a particular mystery of the rosary at a designated half hour on the day in thanksgiving to God for priests and to implore the protection and loving care of Our Lady, mother of all priests, for all her priestly sons.
