Dr. David Smith

I had lunch last week with Dr. David Smith, a retired neurologist, who recently returned from an extended journey to Zimbabwe where he visited many patients, taught classes and studied the medical needs of the Zimbabwe people.  His visit was very productive and he was able to help quite few people through his expertise and concern.  In one case, his intervention quite likely contributed to the restored eyesight of one patient.  I admire Dr. Smith’s deep commitment to bringing the healing sciences and arts to people who live in extreme poverty and need.  Please keep him and his work in your prayers.
