Eugenia Erminia Dalnodar Stanga

SALT LAKE CITY — Eugenia "Jennie" Erminia Dalnodar Stanga, 91, died Dec. 26, at her home. She was a member of St. Ann Parish.

Stanga was born Nov. 5, 1916, in Superior, Wyo., to Bortolo and Erminia Anselmi Dalnodar. She graduated from Superior High School in 1934. She married Isador Robert Stanga on Dec. 14, 1941. While he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, they lived in Pampas, Texas; California; and moved to Salt Lake City in 1950. She was employed for many years at the Veterans Administration Hospital. She was involved in the early days of Kearns-St. Ann School with the Mother’s Club. She loved to host family and patio parties and passed on her wonderful cooking skills to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Isador; son, Burt (Susan); grandchildren, Brian (Sarah), Robert (Karen), Sean, Heather, Nicole; and great-granddaughters, Lauren, Avery, and Annemarie; two sisters, Olga Dalnodar and Ruby Dalnodar Davis; nine nieces and nephews, and their children.

A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated at St. Ann Church. Interment was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
