SALT LAKE CITY — Faviola "Favi" Hernandez, 24, died Aug. 15.
She was born Nov. 24, 1982, to José and Rasalba Hernandez in Salt Lake City. She graduated from East High School in 2001. She graduated from cosmetology school shortly after, and started a successful career. She loved sports, always had a smile, and lived her life to the fullest. She was admired by family and friends, and was always there to comfort those in need. She was our support and our guidance, and helped us get through hard times and struggles. Although her death was tragic, we will never forget all the memories and precious moments we shared with her.
She is survived by her father; mother; sisters, Leslie and Laura; brothers, J. R. and Alex Hernandez; cousins; aunts and uncles; grandparents; godchildren; godparents; and many friends.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Committal was in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
