At the Sunday Angelus on June 3, Pope Francis mentioned the many Eucharistic processions that traditionally take place on Corpus Christi Sunday. “They are an eloquent sign of the fact that Jesus, who died and rose, continues to walk the paths of this world and that he joins us and guides our path,” he said, as reported by Catholic News Service. Among the day’s processions was the one after the 11 a.m. Mass at the Cathedral of the Madeleine (shown), led by Father Martin Diaz, the cathedral rector.
