Five local churches chosen as pilgrimage sites for Jubilee Year

The Diocese of Salt Lake City has designated five parishes as pilgrimage sites for the Jubilee Year:

• Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City

• St. George Catholic Church, 259 West 200 North, St. George

• St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 65 East 500 North, Orem

• St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2350 Adams Ave., Ogden

• Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, 210 N. Carbon Ave., Price.

Local Catholics are encouraged to make a pilgrimage to any or all of these churches. Plenary indulgences will be granted to participants in Jubilee Year activities who meet the usual conditions.
