MURRAY — Flora Celestine Amador, 65, died Aug. 8, due to complications from Lupus. Amador was born Feb. 26, 1942. She graduated from West High School in 1960, and from the University of Utah in the mid 1970s with an Associate’s Degree in sociology. She worked at Valley Mental Health for 19 years as a counselor in project ARTEC. She retired in 1991 for health reasons. She was active in the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) classes, a member of the 49ers Club, and involved in other church activities. She had a generous heart for everyone she met. She is survived by her mother, Margaret; brother, Joseph (Cindy); sister, Louise (Everett) Benay; five nieces, Melissa (Jim) Rheinhardt, Marlena Tennant, Sara Louise Davis, Jennie Margaret Amador, and Kelli-Jo Amador; and several grand-nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church. Committal was in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
