Franklin Lee Leone SALT LAKE CITY — Franklin Lee Leone, 73, died July 2, 2010. Leone was born Sept. 25, 1936 in Salt Lake City to Bernardo Leone and Gilda Jean Bisignano Leonarde. He was proud of his Italian heritage. He graduated from West High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. He served in the Army National Guard. He continued his studies at Northwestern and Stanford universities where he received his master’s degree in business. He was a well-known and respected mortgage banker. He married Dena Kutulas. They had three children and later divorced. He married Jeanine Ferguson. They enjoyed traveling the world together. He loved cheering on the University of Utah Utes and golfing with his buddies. He is survived by his wife, Jeanine; children Linda Leone, Ann Marie Leone (Jack) Tyler, Mark (Tiffany) Leone, David (Shaunna) Brugger, Tamara K. Sheppard; grandchildren Amy, Danielle, Nathan, Bryand, Sarah, Marcus, Michael, Anna, Dylan, John Franklin, Mary, Nicholas; four great-grandchildren; siblings Rosalie Jones, Sam D. Leone; and other extended family members. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent Catholic Church. Interment was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
