SALT LAKE CITY — Gladys M. Drew, 86, died Jan. 11, following the complications of a stroke. Drew was born July 7, 1921, in Cleveland, Ohio. After high school, she traveled extensively while employed with Civil Services. After marrying George C. Drew, she traveled as an Air Force wife and mother. They settled in Kaysville. They lived in retirement in Layton and Centerville and spent winters in Apache Junction, Ariz. Throughout her life, she was active in the Catholic church as a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) teacher, visiting the sick, and attending weekly adoration of the Eucharist. She is survived by her husband, George; four children, Pamela (Bob) Brown, Fresno, Calif., Chris Drew, Centerville, Robin Sorenson, Pa., Elizabeth (Lou) Lucido, Park City; sister, Janice Lee; six grandchildren, Heather, Lisa, Cody, Rusty, Vanessa, and Tony; nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Olaf Catholic Church.
