Golf team named Region XI champs

Led by senior captains Michael Hanover and Cole Dixon, the Judge Memorial Catholic High School 2009 golf team won six out of seven events in region play on its way to a Region XI championship. At the state tourney, the Bulldogs came in second, losing to Park City by one stroke. Among the season highlights were sophomore Chris Turner being named a 3-A medalist, senior Michael Hanover and sophomore Charlie Murphy finishing in the top ten and senior Michael Hanover was named Academic All-State.
