Gregorio Rodriguez Urbina passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025 at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lucina Castruita; and his six children Lorenzo Rodriguez, Javier Felix Rodriguez, Jose Gregorio Rodriguez, Araceli Rodriguez, Mario Osvaldo Rodriguez and Elvia Mónica Rodríguez; his younger brother Esteban Rodriguez Urbina; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated on March 19, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Salt Lake City. Interment was at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Salt Lake City.
