SALT LAKE CITY — Henry E. Neal, 86, died June 25. Neal was born Aug.27, 1922, in Sheridan, Wyo., to John E. and Freida Benegalia Neal. He graduated from South High School where he played football. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II as a flight training engineer. He married Charlotte Kirtley Aug. 18, 1947, in Salt Lake City. He was the vice president of sales for Barwick and Company Wholesale Furniture and Floor Covering. He loved to fish, was a handy man, an avid University of Utah fan, and loved doing things with his family. He is survived by three children, Christine (Vahan) Hindoian, Patricia (Roger) Scott, and Kirtley E. (DeAnn) Neal; five grandchildren, Eric (Marcy) Scott, Scott (Bee) Duncan, Brittany Neal, Amanda Hindoian, and Katie Neal; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Committal was in Holladay Memorial Park.
