Holy Door Pilgrimage

St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish participated in a pilgrimage to the Cathedral of the Madeleine Holy Door on Nov. 7. Led by Father José Barrera Hernandez, the group prayed the rosary in the cathedral plaza, then processed to the Holy Door, which was opened in response to Pope Francis’ call for local dioceses to have a Holy Door during the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. The local Holy Doors will close Sunday; Pope Francis will conclude the Year of Mercy with the closing of the Holy Door at St. Peter’s Basilica on Nov. 20.
