Holy Week at the cathedral

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, there will be no public participation at any of the Masses or celebrations. However, all of them will be livestreamed from the Cathedral of the Madeleine at the times given.

Bishop Oscar A. Solis will preside at all celebrations.

Palm Sunday (April 5) – Masses: 11 a.m. in English and 3 p.m. in Spanish. Palms will be distributed in the plaza after each Mass. Those wishing to receive palms may drive through the plaza to pick them up. They are requested to wear gloves.

Chrism Mass (Thursday, April 9) – Bilingual Mass at 11 a.m.

Mass of the Lord’s Supper (Thursday, April 9) – Bilingual Mass at 5 p.m.

Celebration of the Lord’s Passion (Friday, April 10) – in English at noon and in Spanish at 6 p.m.

The Easter Vigil in the Holy Night (Saturday, April 11) – Bilingual celebration at 8 p.m.

Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord (April 12) – Mass in English at 11 a.m.; in Spanish at 3 p.m.
