On Palm Sunday, Bishop Oscar A. Solis distributes palms in the plaza of the Cathedral of the Madeleine, wearing a mask and gloves in keeping with the safety requirements called for because of the coronavirus pandemic. Despite the restraints of social distancing imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Diocese of Salt Lake City celebrated the traditional Holy Week events.
