The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, spoke on the theme of "Mothers and women in the life of young people" during the Influential People and Women in Scouting appreciation dinner on Oct. 3 at Heritage Park in Salt Lake City. The flag ceremony was conducted by scouts from the parish troops of Saint John the Baptist and Blessed Sacrament.
