Intermountain Catholic Wins Awards

At the 2023 Catholic Media Association Conference, the Intermountain Catholic took home three Catholic Press Awards: second place in Best Regular Column – Political Issues, third place Best Editorial on a Local Issue – Weekly, and honorable mention Best Feature Writing, Spanish-language division. The column and editorial were written by Jean Hill, formerly the director of the diocese’s Office of Life, Justice, and Peace; the feature story was written by Laura Vallejo, an Intermountain Catholic staff writer.
