Isadore Mora

SALT LAKE CITY — Isadore Mora, 72, died Dec. 3, at his home. He was a member of St. Patrick Parish.

Mora was born July 14, 1935, in Salt Lake City to Isadori and Lucy Sanchez Mora. He served four years in the U.S. Navy. He married Gayle Larsen on Jan. 21, 1965. He was employed by Kennecott Copper for 27 years and Utah Transit Authority (UTA) for 15 years. He was the 1995 UTA Operator of the Year, and was a member of the million mile club where he was incident free. Due to his association with AA, he was sober for 42 years. He enjoyed playing cards.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle; three sons, Shane (Sandra), Lance (Michelle), and Christopher Trent (Marlene); seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; brother, Ernie (Ruth); and three sisters, Della (Harold) Bardsley, Rita (Richard) Bergstrom, and Jenny Mora.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
