SALT LAKE CITY — Jack Bullock Davis, 83, died Jan. 30. Davis was born June 26, 1923, to Lyle and Opal Bullock Davis in Provo. He graduated from South High School and the University of Utah. He served in the U.S. Army Corps during World War II, in the Philippines and New Guinea. He married Ruby Dalnodar April 18, 1951, in Salt Lake City. He retired from Chevron Oil Refinery in 1983. As avid golfers, he and his wife enjoyed playing in golf tournaments for many years, and he scored three holes-in-one. He adored each of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and he will be sorely missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruby; children, Dianne (Ingo) Valentin, Bob, Pat (Ron) Tingey, Lisa (Mike) Nelson, Lori (Joe) Lambert, Bill (Sherrie), Jackie (Glenn), Arbanas, Jim, Jill (Scott) Widmer; 22 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; cousins; and friends. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment was held at Wasatch Lawn.
