LAYTON — Jack M. Larsen, 92, passed away of natural causes Oct. 24, 2012.

Larsen was born on Feb. 13, 1920 to Lige and Edna Larsen. He was a WWII vet and participated in the "Raid of Okinawa." He married Donna Mann on Feb. 12 1950. Jack spent 27 years on the Ogden/Weber County police force. After retiring in the Tucson area he was active in Catholic senior community activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Larsen is survived by five children: Mark (Lisa) Larsen, Kathy (Dave) Unck, John (Patti) Larsen, Pam (Mike) Rathburn and Leisa (Scott) Eichmeier; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
