Jail Ministry Offers Guadalupe Celebration

Members of the Diocese of Salt Lake City Jail Ministry brought the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe to the Adult Detention Center and the Oxbow Facility on Dec. 12, the feast day of the Guadalupana. As part of the celebration, they brought with them an image of Our Lady that is kept at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish in West Jordan. Later, taking intentions that the inmates had written in notebooks, they offered them at a Mass of Supplication at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church for the feast of the Guadalupana.
