JMCHS students named National Merit semifinalists / JMCHS alumna honored

Seven students from Judge Memorial Catholic High School have been named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists. They are Meghan M. Brockmeyer, Craig M. Domeier, Jennifer R. Gardner, Isabelle M. Ghabash, Michael A. Hanover, Parker W. Mildenhall and Marissa Novak.

WASHINGTON - Kelsey Elizondo, a 2007 Judge Memorial Catholic High School alumna, was named the Northwest Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for Women's Swimming for the week of Nov. 10.

Now a junior at the University of Puget Sound majoring in psychology, Elizondo won every individual event she entered that weekend in two separate winning meets.

Against Pacific Lutheran, Elizondo had a time of 9:51.89 in the 800 Free and 1:09.25 in the 100 Fly. In the meet against Willamette, she added first place times in the 200 Fly (2:30.58), 400 Free (4:53.43) and 200 IM (2:36.86).
