John Joseph Peczuh, Jr.

John Joseph Peczuh, Jr. (Brother John), 87, passed away on Dec. 15, 2016 at St. Joseph Villa in Salt Lake City. 

He was born October 4, 1929 in Kenilworth, Utah to John and Maria Peczuh.

 John was a U.S. Army veteran who served on active service during the Korean War.

 Brother John entered the  Abbey of Our Lady of  the Holy Trinity monastery in Huntsville  in May of 1955. In addition to his contribution to the monastery’s heavy farm work, he was in charge of the  laundry operation for many years, up until his health began to fail.

Funeral services were held Dec. 19  at the monastery. Interment will in the monastery cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were by Myers Mortuary of Ogden.
