May 29, 1930 ~ July 10, 2023

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Joe passed away peacefully in his home on July 10, 2023. We celebrate a life well lived.

Joseph Paul Ferrando was born May 29, 1930, in Salt Lake City to John and Margaret Ferrando. He was an identical twin and almost the baby of the family. He served in Germany during the Korean War. Joe was a master electrician who spent his entire career with Brinton Electric in Murray. He married Nola Nielson on August 16, 1958. Together they raised three children.

Joe enjoyed many things, especially his beautiful yard that he tended to with his wife. He was a member of the Italian America Civic League for many years. He loved all things Italian, especially the food. Joe was an exceptional father and a man well loved and respected by many. Above all, he loved his family and enjoyed when family members would gather in his home.

Joe is survived by his wife Nola; children Todd, Diane (Brad Olson) and Steve; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by both parents; sisters Mary, Margaret, Minnie and Mae; and twin brother John.

The family would like to express deep appreciation to Superior Home Care & Hospice for their care. Special thanks to Mike and Gerd Quigley.

Graveside services were held July 27, 2023, at Utah Veterans Memorial Park at Camp Williams, Bluffdale.

Joe, may you rest and know we love you always.
