DRAPER — Julie Eileen Fisher Butler, 62, died March 27, 2011.

Butler was born Aug. 31, 1948, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Otto Albert Fisher II and Louise Ruth Daugherty Fisher (Speer). She graduated from Saint Mary of the Wasatch High School in 1967, and attended the University of Utah. She married William Francis Butler on Nov. 19, 1969, in Salt Lake City.

Butler enjoyed many activities, including traveling the United States, attending Ford Thunderbird Club events in her own Thunderbird, helping to care for and adopt out stray cats, being creative with arts and crafts, listening to country music, boating, beaches, and crossword puzzles. She was an avid bridge player. Her great pride in life was being a mother, and especially a grandmother to Kailey.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffery James Butler (Julie Ann Stevens), Ripon, Calif., and Thomas Patrick Butler, Woodstock, Ga.; granddaughter, Kailey Ann Butler, Ripon, Calif.; two sisters and two brothers, Carolynn Louise (Bill) Gavin, Cheyenne, Wyo., Otto "Butch" Fisher III, West Jordan, Jim W. Fischer (Jane Larkin), E. Millcreek, and Cathleen Ruth (Del) Sanderson, Holladay; two nieces, Jennifer Louise (Tim) Foster, Austin, Texas and Julie Anne (Joe) Ahlstrom, Riverton; and many extended family members.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church.
