Our loving sister, aunt and friend, Katherine “Kathy” Colosimo, age 68, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2023 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 3, 1955 in Price, Utah to Joseph and Mary Falsone Colosimo.

Kathy graduated from Weber State University and spent her career as an X-ray technician at Holy Cross Hospital, Lakeview/Salt Lake Regional Hospital, and retired from St. Mark’s Hospital. Kathy volunteered her time to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, where she was a donor to help animals in need. She was an avid reader and loved her trips to Wendover. She loved cats, and her cat Sammy was her favorite furry companion. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by her siblings Margaret Colosimo and Joe (Sandi) Colosimo, both of Price; nephew Paul (Jenn) Colosimo, Price; niece Tami (Peter) Nelson, Price; aunt and uncle Pat (Dominic) Guarascio, Price; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Colosimo.

A funeral Mass was celebrated May 8, 2023 at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price. Committal, Cliffview Cemetery.  Friends may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
