BOUNTIFUL — Katherine Marie McClain (Rosander) Perry, 89, died quietly of old age with her son and daughter at her side Nov. 25. Perry was born June 2, 1918, in Eureka, Utah, to Harry Edmund McClain and Marie Teresa Homer. She grew up in Eureka and attended Tintic High School. After graduation, she attended Stevens Henager Business College and enjoyed a career in secretarial, bookkeeping, and managerial work. She was proud of her opportunity to set up and manage Kelly Girls, now known as Kelly Services. She was also manager of Bountiful Medical Center for many years. She married John V. Perry, who was her loving partner until his passing in 2001. They moved to Bountiful in 1955, and remained there. They enjoyed being traveling hosts for Johnson Travel and doing volunteer work for the Bountiful Senior Center Meals-on-Wheels. She is survived by her daughter, Karen M. Rosander; son, Victor M. Perry; his wife, Pam, and their children, Kelly and Derrick; and other family members. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Olaf Catholic Church. Interment was in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
