Kelly Frye-Glasser

DRAPER — Kelly Suzanne Frye-Glasser, 52, died Aug. 1, 2010 in a kayaking accident in Utah with her husband, Joseph.

Frye-Glasser was born Dec. 8, 1957 in Vermont, Ill. to Roy Lee Frye and Betty June Danner. She and Joseph Glasser were married Sept. 29, 2001 in California. They shared several years of love. Family was important to her; she loved and treasured her children with all her heart.

She spent the early years of her life in Illinois. She completed her undergraduate degrees in English and history from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill. She was awarded her J.D. by the J. Rueben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1992 and most recently worked as a Guardian and Litem for the State of Utah. She was passionate about her work, constantly striving to change children’s lives for the better and no matter what task she undertook, she did so with full intent and the utmost commitment. She loved spending time in nature.

Frye-Glasser is survived by her son, Dylan Terrence Tice; daughter Annie Elizabeth Tice, who were born to Kelly and former husband Philip Tice; mother Betty; and two sisters Dixie (Cliff) Thalwitzer of Summerfield, Fla. and Kris (Steven) Fawcett of Washington, Mo.
