Knights Donate to Special Olympics

David Matyjasik, State Special Olympics chairman for the Utah Knights of Columbus (right) and Frank Carmona, Utah State secretary, present a check for $10,676.40 to Tony Smith, a Special Olympics Utah Board member, during the opening of the 2023 Summer Games at Granger High School on June 9. Over the past 15 years, the Knights have raised $173,000 for the Utah Special Olympics, and all the money stays in the state to support local athletes, Matyjasik said.
