Lauretta Marie Edlefsen Mancuso

Our beloved beautiful Lauretta Marie Edlefsen Mancuso was surrounded by her five generations as she took her journey home to her mother she missed every day.

All those lucky enough to know her know there’s no words that can say what an amazing lady she was. Lauretta loved her family more then anything, and was always there for anyone who needed help. She danced in Vaudeville in her early days where she met her husband, Blaine Edlefsen. They had four children Terry, Lori, Julie and Reggy. Mom adored her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Lauretta’s great-great-granddaughter Viera Cabey ( going to be a year old this year), was  smiling at her great-great-nana’s bedside, which opened Lauretta’s eyes for the last time with a glorious smile too.  

Lauretta lived an exciting life for 93 years. She will be missed by everyone who knew her for she touched everyone’s heart in so many ways. Thank you, Lord, for taking mom peacefully and I know she is so happy to be with her loved ones she missed so much. We love and miss you mom but will see you in God’s time.

Lauretta was a longtime member of St. Ann Parish.

We will be having a celebration of life in the near future. Lauretta donated her perfect body to the University of Utah. So we don’t want to rush her party because we want to give everyone enough time to plan in advance so we can all be together to share her extraordinary life.
