Lawrence Lemoine, 69, died suddenly on Aug. 20, 2011.
Lemoine was born on Feb. 20, 1942 in New Orleans, La. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. After his home was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, he came to live in Salt Lake City. He became a devoted member of the Cathedral of Madeleine where he was also employed. He was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council 602. He gave generously, especially to those in need, even though he wasn't a man of great means himself. Larry made friends easily and was loved by many. His smile will be missed and always remembered.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 E. South Temple in Salt Lake City.
