This year, the St. Andrew Catholic School River Dolphins are diving into a Year of Virtues. This idea was inspired by a flyer that was found among some papers from St. Andrew’s founding principal, Holy Cross Sr. Karla McKinney. In this time when everything is moving so fast, it’s nice to have a reminder that there are concrete ways we can try to get a bit closer to living  in the footsteps of Christ. The community at the Catholic school in Riverton is highlighting the virtues of courtesy, honesty, gratitude, generosity, respect, responsibility, courage, reverence and kindness. Each class discusses and looks for ways to live out the virtue of the month. In September, the St. Andrew school community worked on the virtue of courtesy. The photos show how students in the preschool and kindergarten classes live out courtesy.
