KEARNS — Lessli Gomez, 9, died Aug. 29. Gomez was born Feb. 25, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nev., to Luz Ventura. She was a generous and hard-working fourth-grader who was loved by family, friends, and teachers. She is survived by her mother; siblings, Yajaira, Alex, and Adrian; grandmother, Maria Ventura; aunts and uncles, Cecilia Ventura, Agustin Ventura, Victor Ortega, and Gabriel Ventura; and many friends and extended family members. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
