SALT LAKE CITY — Linda Gayle Smith Steiner, 61, died April 15, 2012.

Steiner was born Dec. 28, 1950 in Salt Lake City to Calvin G. and Pauline Smith. She married John E. Steiner on April 7, 1969.

Steiner is survived by husband John E. Steiner; sons John (Linette) Steiner and Paul (Misty) Steiner; daughter Pamela (Zach) Kelser; mother Pauline Smith; father and stepmother Calvin (Carol) Smith; brothers Nick (Susan) Smith, Robert (Stephanie) Smith and Shaun Smith; sisters Tammy (Max) Trujillo and Stacy Lund; sisters-in-law Judi (Larry) Kirigin and Carol Smith; eight grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Steiner was preceded in death by her brother, Danny.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
