On Oct. 20 the Saint Anthony of Padua Parish youth group and their families gathered for a living rosary praying the Luminous Mysteries in the town park. The Most Rev. John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake City, who celebrated Mass at the parish that morning, also joined the living rosary. The group started at the church in Helper and sang "They Will Know We Are Christians" as they walked to the park. During the rosary, each bead was represented by a glow stick. Each person who led the prayer cracked the glow stick so it would illuminate the evening sky. Bishop Wester ended the celebration by blessing all those present. A dessert reception at the church followed the event in the park.
