May 1, 1931 ~ August 3, 2023
Lois Nadine Lyngle, 92, passed away on August 3, 2023, in St. George, Utah, in the company of loved ones. Born on May 1, 1931, in Salt Lake City, she was the daughter of Adru LaFoy and Bernice Griggs-Jenson, the second child, her siblings being Dale, Shirley and Richard Jenson. Nadine married Charles Mack Lyngle, later divorced. Nadine then married Robert Valline, later divorced.
In her early years, Nadine helped to support the family business as a seamstress and did everything to help the family. Later Nadine had a long successful career in real estate in Salt Lake City. Nadine found her passion for the arts where she went back and got a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a minor in business at the University of Utah at the age of 65.
Nadine’s paintings were her finest creation on canvas; she loved to paint nudes and landscapes. In 1995 she moved to St. George, living a long, wonderful life playing bridge and golf at the Bloomington Country Club with many friends. She loved the desert, but missed the cold winters of Salt Lake with wonderful memories there. She was a parishioner at St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church while she lived in Salt Lake City and later a St. George Catholic Church parishioner.
Nadine is survived by her sons Kent (Judy), Cary (Lisa) and Michael (Christine), her grandchildren Russel Lyngle, Josh Lyngle, Tyler Lyngle (Lexi), Charley Hamel (Andrew), Hayden Lyngle and Catherine Lyngle; and her great-grandchildren Bailee, Brynlee, Avery and Lainey; along with many nieces and nephews on the Jenson side of the family.
The Lyngle family gives many thanks and are eternally grateful for the services and staff of Intermountain Health along with their home health and hospice services as they were amazing throughout the whole time Nadine was in their care.
A celebration of life for Nadine was hosted by Amy and Mike Griffin on August 19.
Nadine was always known to be very gentle, kind, loving to all those who know her, she will truly be missed and loved forever.
