Loretta Jean Bagarozzi Radka

January 25, 1937 ~ May 20, 2022

Loretta Jean Bagarozzi Radka was born on January 25, 1937, in Buffalo, New York to Frank Bagarozzi and Ada Marie Bagarozzi (née Whelan). She passed away on May 20, 2022, in her home surrounded by love. In May 1957 she married Charles John Radka (later divorced). Together they had four children. She dedicated herself to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked 36 years as a CNA and cared deeply for her patients. 

A proud Italian matriarch, she lived by the saying, “blood is thicker than water” and would do anything for her family. A devout Catholic, her faith saw her through many hardships in life. Her “sauce” was beyond compare. She loved the Utah Jazz, Olive Garden, strawberry cheesecake, KFC and a cold beer. She bowled on a league until this year and loved her team “Grandma & The Boys.” She was everyone’s favorite Grandma and the center of our world. Rest easy Mama, until we meet again. 

Preceded in death by her parents; son Joseph Radka; grandson Phillip Matthew McLaughlin; sisters Katherine, Florence and Marie; brothers Joseph, Anthony, Frank, Jack and Casey. Survived by daughter Charlene (Larry), son Charles (Chandra) and daughter Christine (Bryan). Also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held June 2, 2022, at Neil O’Donnell Funeral Home. Interment followed at Redwood Memorial Estates.
